After you submit your application and documents, the admissions team will review them and set a date for the potential champion's Admissions Interview and MAPS Screening in Math and Reading.

No child will be denied admission based on screening or interviews. This process is used to evaluate the potential champion's abilities and to properly place them in coursework and mentorship that will lead to their success.

STEP 4: Enrollment

Once the admissions team has all the necessary documents and the potential champion has gone through MAPS Reading and Math screenings and interviews, families will be invited to complete the enrollment process. This includes a week-long orientation for Champions and a 2-3 day orientation for parents and guardians.

After completing orientation, Champions will be fully registered and enrolled at Alabama Aerospace and Aviation High School and ready to begin the 2024-2025 school year. We can't wait to see your SOAR!
